Our API allows you to integrate temporary phone number provisioning and SMS reception directly into your app or backend workflow.

💰 How You Earn#

You earn up to 50% of the profit for each activation that receives at least one SMS.

• Earnings are automatically tracked per activation via your reseller ID
• No handling of payments or customer support—just API calls
• You get your cut once an activation receives SMS from the target service

💡 Profit example: If a user pays $1 and the profit is $0.60, you earn $0.30.

⚙️ How It Works (User Flow)#

1. User creates an account on Platfone and retrieves their API key.
2. In your app, the user enters their API key (or you provide a link for signup).
3. You use their API key to make requests on their behalf.
4. On each API call for an activation, you pass your X-Reseller-ID header.
5. If SMS is received—you earn.

• Tracking: Log in anytime to see detailed stats—activations, SMS received, earnings.
• Payouts: Withdraw earnings monthly or upon request (minimum threshold may apply).

🔌 API Integration Steps#

1. Fetch Available Services and Countries Use our endpoint to retrieve service list and pricing.

2. User Selects Preferences Your user chooses a service (e.g., WhatsApp) and country. Optionally, they can define a max price.

3. Create Activation Call the POST /activation endpoint with:

   • X-Reseller-ID header to identify your account
   • User’s API key for authentication
   • Desired service and country

4. Receive Phone Number and Activation ID You’ll get a unique phone number and activation ID.

5. Fetch Incoming SMS Use the activation ID to poll for incoming SMS via our API.
